"Been with this office for thirty years, including homeowners insurance since 2013. Never filed a home claim. I had my roof inspected after many of my neighbors had roof replacements recently. A hail storm is on record here on 4/17/24. The roofer and third party inspector found many obvious signs of weather damage. The claim was denied saying that no hail and wind damage was present…normal wear and tear. There was clear damage in pictures and dents all over my aluminum roof vents and downspouts. I have at least 10 neighbors who have already had roofs replaced and others that are insurance approved, so this isn’t an unwarranted claim. The folks at my agent’s office offered to help at first, then said there was a problem being able to see the 40 pictures I sent, then after re-uploading pictures didn’t care to weigh in and advocate for me with claims…said it’s out of their hands. The roofer I was working with also said their teams have been instructed to avoid dealing with State Farm, who is notorious for denying all kinds of valid claims. I’ve been a loyal customer of 30 years and have auto, home, personal property, and life insurance through State Farm. This agent, without any communication with me, transferred all my accounts to another agent, after my dispute of this claim...all because I had something to say when they did me wrong by denying a valid claim. The third party inspector cited 3 areas of wind damage that were dismissed by the adjuster. Look at the pictures and make your own judgment. Ed retired, now there's a new agent, so they were hoping to just sweep my complaint under the rug with old Google listing dying. Sorry, Jason. I am now in a position where the only way I can go to another insurance company would be by lying and saying there's no pre-existing damage. My hands are tied, and I can't get help from State Farm. Don't find yourself in this same situation. Go with someone else. This was mishandled through this office. You work closely with Lori in your office who has all the details. This office has chosen not to help me. I will leave it to you to reach out to me to help, but I won’t hold my breath."
